Over the years, I have been to countless fishing shows/expos big and small and enjoyed all of these expos. We won’t get into the amount of money I have spent on new fishing equipment at these expos, but I will say, I have always learned something about fishing at every one of them. Usually those fishing shows/expos are in bigger cities like Chicago, Milwaukee or Madasin Wisconsin and if you don’t live close to one of these cities, it could be an expensive overnight trip.

If you do not want to spend money on gas, a hotel room, food and probably paying a lot for parking at fishing expos, I have the perfect solution for you. If anglers were disappointed that they missed the inaugural MUSKY FISHING EXPO last year, get ready to attend the 2nd MUSKY FISHING EXPO at Northern Waters Casino in Watersmeet Michigan on Saturday March 29th. This expo is being promoted by the ISCCW (INVASIVE SPECIES CONTROL COALITION OF WATERSMEET).

The ISCCW is a nonprofit organization that plays a HUGE part in protecting the environment of our waters by educating the public on the spread of the many invasive species in our lakes. I do not believe the ISCCW gets the credit they deserve for the hard work and long hours that these people put into preventing the spread of invasive species in the lakes we ALL use and enjoy. It’s significant to know, many of these invasive species are thick mats of vegetation. How important is the effort the ISCCW is putting forth today? Years from now, think of our grandchildren trying to swim or catch their first fish in our lakes that were overtaken by these invasive plants. Yes, their work is crucial for future generations. Please support this incredible organization. Donations greatly appreciated and volunteers are truly welcomed.

Are there benefits from attending or even participating at these expos? You bet there is. This Musky fishing expo will give anglers the opportunity to learn about Musky fishing from professional Musky pros on strategies and techniques on catching the fish of 1000 cast.
Not only will there be booths with venders promoting their products, but you can view the new boats, along with many other items. Whether you are an experienced Musky angler, a weekend warrior or an eager newcomer to musky fishing, you DO NOT want to miss this year’s MUSKY FISHING EXPO.
